We are currently recruiting:

Full Time Driver - Sevenoaks

40 hours per week - Mon – Fri 

£22,672 gross annual

Based in Sevenoaks, Kent

Expected to start 1st week of Jan 2024.

We are recruiting a for a full time MInibus Driver to join our team.

This is an interesting and varied role driving one of our specially adapted vehicles transporting disabled and other vulnerable people to pre-arranged destinations.

The skills required for this role include:

  • the ability to work to agreed schedules,
  • confident and adaptable when dealing with disabled people
  •  able to deal with unexpected situations as they arise.
  • excellent communication skills
  • calm and patient manner 
  • be willing to undertake relevant training

To be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years professional driving experience with a clean full UK driving licence with minimum category D1 (101) included.

Ad-Hoc Drivers

£10.90 per hour + accrued holiday pay for hours worked

8 hours per day or 9 hours to cover home to school transport 

No Weekend or evening work 

We are currently looking for Bank driving staff to cover across West Kent, North Kent, East Kent and Ashford.

Drivers cover routes across all areas, covering home to school transport, scheduled routes and our Out and About Service.

The position requires an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Services Check (DBS) (arranged by Compaid). 

Applicants need to:

  • Have 2 years professional driving experience
  • A calm and patient manner with excellent communication skills
  • Full clean driving licence with Category D1 101 as a minimum requirement

Ad-Hoc Passenger Assistants - Kentwide

7.30am - 9.30pm and 2.30pm - 4.30 pm  Mon - Fri Term Time Only

Areas to be covered - West Kent, Sittingbourne, Ashford & Dartford

We are looking for an Ad Hoc Relief Passenger Assistants to cover staff absences on our home to school transport for SEND children in various areas across Kent.

The vehicle picks up the children in the local area and takes them to the specified SEND schhool for a particular area, so applicants should live ilocally or be able to meet our driver at a designated point at the beginning of the shift.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with children, and be calm and patient. An enhanced DBS check and attendance of KCC mandatory training course is required, both arranged by Compaid.
