Josh’s Tech Tips #1: Assistive Technology

Learning how to search online is one of the many ways our clients build confidence
using computers and navigating the internet.

Whether it’s exploring a hobby, researching family history, finding online courses, or
checking the latest football results, these everyday skills can open the door to new
interests and opportunities.

One of our clients, Josh, has been doing just that, working with our trainers to explore
different types of assistive technology and equipment, and even writing up what he’s found
to share with others.

We hope you enjoy Josh’s research!

4. Leg Lifter

Lifting heavy legs makes you more tired, and asking for help and finds it hurts your loved ones’ or even your friends backs?
I personally recommend this leg lifter and it’s been more helpful to me. Not just in the car, as it helps lift my legs up and down from my bed.

5. Car Handle Assistant:

Many people struggle to get in and out of the car, and even one handle isn’t enough to help them get in and out. This is an absolute must have to keep with you!

This is built for all types of vehicles; you can also take it with you if you use it in a taxi to go to town. I have seen people use them in their SUV’s and lorries as well.
