Since its formation in 1986, Compaid has supported tens of thousands of disabled and other vulnerable people in and around Kent.
Our Training Services are commissioned by, among others, the Department of Work and Pensions, Kent County Council, East Sussex County Council and Good Things Foundation.
Our Training Centre in Paddock Wood is a nationally recognised UK Online Centre.
Our Transport Services are commissioned by, among others, Kent County Council, East Sussex County Council, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Age UK, British Red Cross and Leonard Cheshire Disability.
Compaid holds the Community Transport Association’s Quality Mark, is a Disability Confident employer and the charity is self-certified as running at Level 3 of the PQASSO Quality Standard.
Compaid is also a founding member of Age Well West Kent, a partnership charity working to widen opportunities for older people in the area and to better co-ordinate services.
