Tunbridge Wells Mayor’s Civic Dinner, High Rocks – Saturday 21 September
We are delighted to have been selected by the Tunbridge Wells Mayor elect, Councillor James Scholes, as his chosen charity for his term in office which commences in May 2019. Several events are planned for the year from which Compaid will receive the proceeds of raffles and auctions held at these events.
The first event of the Mayoral Year is the Civic Dinner to be held at the High Rocks, Tunbridge Wells. Please come and join us and help make this a very successful and enjoyable evening. If you are interested in attending please contact Diane or Nicky.
Tickets cost £37.50 per head which includes a pre-dinner drink, 3 course meal and entertainment.
Clay Pigeon Shoot, West Kent Shooting School – Thursday 3 October
The second event of the Mayoral Year will be the Clay Pigeon Shoot at West Kent Shooting. Further details can be downloaded here.
Tonbridge Half Marathon – Sunday 6 October
Tonbridge Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday 6 October. Compaid is looking for runners who would be willing to raise at least £50 in return for a guaranteed free place in the race. Each year we also provide Marshalls to help out around the route and ensure that everything runs smoothly – no experience is needed as you would be paired with an experienced marshall. This is a great opportunity to support the runners and experience the atmosphere of the day. If you would like a place or are interested in helping please contact Diane or Nicky
Tonbridge Christmas Festival – Sunday 24 November
For the second year we will be manning a stall at the Tonbridge Christmas Festival. Are you artistic or crafty? We are looking for anyone who would like to help by making quality goods which could be sold on the stall. If you are able to help or would like to know more please contact Diane or Nicky
Tunbridge Wells Mayors Quiz, Assembly Hall – Friday 7 February 2020
Would you be able to gather a group of 8 knowledgeable friends to form a team? Further details will be available nearer the time but it is never too soon to start brushing up on your specialist subject!
