What Commissioners say | Compaid | Meeting the changing needs of disabled people

Some comments from those who commission our services:

Since 2007 Compaid has operated Kent Karrier transport services under contract to Kent County Council. Today, Compaid runs 7 of the 11 registered services across the county.

“We really value the caring, reliable, friendly and tailored approach Compaid take with disabled and elderly people they support. They offer a professional, commercial standard service, at a competitive price and are a leading provider from this sector in Kent.”

Steve Pay, Public Transport, Planning and Operations Manager with Kent County Council

Since 2015 Compaid has been delivering digital skills training for disabled jobseekers registered with local JobCentre Plus offices. Today, Compaid runs commissioned services to JobCentres in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Margate, Ramsgate and Chatham.

“Compaid’s offer is distinctive in terms of the specialist equipment they use for digital skills training, as well as the holistic approach they take to claimant’s needs and addressing their barriers to learning and working. They just know exactly how to work with disabled claimants, and get the best out of them.”
