Fundraising

As a local charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of individuals, trusts and companies for financial support. We need around £150,000 in fundraising income each year to maintain our current support to disabled people and we must raise even more to fund our planned future developments.

Community Support

Compaid is part of your community and if you are an individual, belong to a club or an association we welcome your support. If you haven’t organised anything before we can help you with any activity you may be planning on our behalf. You can organise various events including coffee mornings, cake sales or quiz nights or you can take part in sponsored events and raise money on our behalf.

Company Support

Working with companies is very much based on a partnership and our aim is to ensure we build mutually beneficial relationships. A partnership with Compaid enhances and projects a positive image of your company within the community. It is also great for staff morale as fundraising is engaging, motivating, fun and encourages teamwork. The company receives the benefits of an association with a respected local charity and the potential to attract new customers. There are various ways your company can become involved including adopting Compaid as your Charity of the Year. This is an opportunity to build a longer term partnership which enables staff and customers to gain a better understanding of what Compaid does and see the difference they are making to the lives of disabled people. This also gives Compaid the financial security to plan in the future and enables us to provide a better service to our clients and their families.

Individual Donations

Voluntary donations mean a great deal to us whether they are a one-off or on a regular basis.  A number of our supporters are also kind enough to include a legacy in their wills. Information on how to donate can be found here or contact our Fundraising Manager.

Every donation we receive does make a real difference and we can not provide our vital services without the help of our supporters.
